The Yamaha MG10XU is a compact 10-channel mixer for live sound, presentations, small performances, streaming, podcasting, and basic recording. Four microphone preamps with switchable phantom power support common wired and condenser microphones, while three stereo line-input pairs accommodate playback devices and other sources. Built-in SPX effects add reverb, delay, and processing without a separate effects unit, and the USB audio interface provides a convenient connection to a compatible computer. One-knob compressors on the first two channels help control vocal and instrument dynamics throughout live productions and recording sessions.
